13th Annual Chowder CookOff  -  11 February 2017

  The 13th Chowder CookOff took place on 11 February from 12:00 to 3:00 and we were so fortunate to have the following restaurants participate: The Bridge, Casa della Luce, CC O'Brien's Sports Cafe, Famous Pizza, Sunnyside Up, The Brazen Hen, The Cooked Goose, The Sea Goose and Venice Restaurant.  In the school division -  Westerly High School's Highland Grille and Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center. 

 

The wonderful sponsors of this event included Andrea Beach Bar, Avie's Ski/Sport, L&M Hospital - New London, Nigrelli's Jewelry, Valenti Subaru and WBLQ as our Sponsors.

 

We wish to thank our participants and sponsors for their continued support to this event and to our Club and special thanks to all the attendees who joined in the celebration of the best chowders in the area.

 

 

This year the winners in the restaurant division were:  5 Star Award  to Sunnyside Up, 4 Star Award to The Sea Goose and the 3 Star Award to Casa Della Luce

The winners in the school division were:  5 Star Award to Woonsocket Area Career & Tech Center and 4 Star Award to Westerly High School's Highland Grille
