Our guest speaker Monday evening was Ann Shapiro of the Connecticut Storytelling Center. She has been at the helm as Executive Director for the past 20 years. The mission of the Connecticut Storytelling Center is to promote the living art and use of storytelling in the many environments of our diverse society. Their annual Festival this year will be a virtual event - celebrating the 40th festival on Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24, cost is only $40. Two of the workshops will cover "bullying prevention through storytelling" and "forgiveness". Ann shared an interesting story.
