DG Dave joined the Rotary Club of Bourne-Sandwich in 1976 and served as President for three terms. He served as Assistant District Governor for four years and has been an active participant in the Rotary Leadership Institute for District 7950 and PETS for many years. He arrived at the Olean Center shortly before 4:30 and was escorted by the Board for a stroll through Rotary Park. When we returned to the Center, Dave questioned Steve about various Rotary concerns and seemed pleased with our efforts. He said "all the important things about being a Rotary, you're doing." He mentioned that next year instead of "PrePets" District meeting, there will be a "Post Pets" District meeting. He also said that the longevity of a Club will look to being diverse and bringing in younger people.
