Jasper Gitzendanner  - January 2021
This young man is very special and he will go far - Honor Student, Musician (alto sax and cello), Hockey player, Videographer, Artist.  Jasper performs with the Warwick Symphony Orchestra as well as the WHS Marching, Symphonic and Jazz Bands.  He also is a reporter withe the FBLA WHS Chapter and is Treasurer of the WHS Student Council.  He has created promotional videos for companies, festivals and WHS.  Mr Hobin stated that Jasper has more than 88 documented hours of community service which include being a Junior Counselor at the Frosty Drew Nature Camp in Charlestown working with children ages 4 - 8 and helping at the Jonnycake Center.
Michael L Mancini  -  February 2021
Honor student in the TOP TEN of his class, Michael has earned High Honors with Distinction, a "classic kid" per Mr. Hobin.  Michael plays Alto Sax with the Marching, Concert, and Jazz Bands and he earned First Chair at NAFME All-East Honors Jazz Ensemble, First Chair at RI All-State Jazz Band and First Chair at RI All-State Band, placed as vocal bass in RI All-State Mixed Chorus.  He also is a member of Students for Life and served as Vice President and President. Michael has accumulated over 128 community service hours which include helping at St Pius Church serving as an altar server and helping the Youth Group.
Adam Gilman  -  March, 2021
Rotary Club of Westerly RYLA Student of 2020, WHS Class President, School Committee Representative, Boys State Student, another young man who will make his parents proud.  Adam his an Honor Student, participates in Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Future Business Leaders.  He is a Big Buddies mentor and volunteers with the Westerly Youth Soccer Association, our Lady of Mt Carmel Feast Committee and the 75th Anniversary of D-Day Presentation. 
Those of us who attended meeting Monday evening were privileged to meet and hear about these fine young men and, hopefully, one day they will become Rotarians and will continue service to the community.  We wish them much success in all they do as they journey onward.
