This very talented young man has completed over 145 hours of community service, while maintaining academic honors and participating in cross country, indoor track and lacrosse.  Brandon was also a member of the WHS Stage Dogs and starred in "Mousetrap".  His plan is to attend the University of Rhode Island and major in the Theatre Program in acting and directing.

January Student of the Month Chiara Andrews with President Ted and Principal Hobin

Chiara recently was awarded the Rhode Island Foreign Language Student of the Year Award.  While maintaining academic honors in her studies, she has also accomplished Italian, Spanish and French languages and received awards for each in National Exams.  Chiara is self-studying German.  Mr. Hobin stated that Chiara has completed over the required 30 community service hours.  She is currently interning at Westerly Middle School as a World Language Intern.  She plans on attending University of New Hampshire, majoring in Linguistics.

And, we must acknowledge Nigrelli's Jewelry for their continued dedication to this program by donating the plaques that the students receive.  We are forever grateful.
