Fourteen members attended our Zoom meeting this past Monday evening. The meeting began with a talk by Alex Conway who is the District Executive of the Narragansett Council of Boy Scouts. The Narragansett Council Southwest District includes Scouts from Warwick to Block Island and Pawcatuck, CT. Alex told that weekly meetings have gone virtual like so many others but Scouts continue to earn their merit badges working from home. The Council's website has so much information for both Scouts and Cub Scouts.

After Alex left the meeting, Cal led us in prayer and Bob Elmer presented a Foundation Moment. Secretary's Report: Wedding Anniversary greetings to Chris DiPaola and Lana Weidner, June 15th, and Birthday blessings to Bob Elmer and Cal Lord, June 18th.
Our "Essential Worker" signs will be picked up Tuesday morning and delivered to Avie's. Bob and Suzanne Lane and Ted will prepare a list of recipients and will let us know when we are ready to deliver them. Anyone who wishes to help, please contact Ted or Bob.
Golf Tournament Update: There are 14 Golfers fully registered (registration received and paid), 4 Golfer registered but payment en route. Dan spoke with Bill Quirk, who is on the WCCU Donations Committee. He was told that WCCU has donated so much to Covid crisis First Responders that they do not plan to make other donations this year. However, if anything changes before October, the Rotary Club will be considered.
Rona heard from District Governor Elect Charlene Jarest recently that her August visitation may, in fact, be in person. So we might still be able to have our annual Million Dollar Meal - perhaps with some health safety adjustments. More to come.
And finally, Ted reported that he had a very special visitor to the store Monday afternoon - Bob Boughner and his son, Dave. We are delighted to know that Bob and Marty are back in Westerly. Virtual hugs, dear friends!!!!
