Kathryn, Rona and Rose attended the District Annual Business Zoom meeting on June 17th.  After the business meeting was completed, the annual District Awards were announced.  We are pleased to announced the our Club received the Presidential Award of Leadership Excellence and the Public Image Award.  Service Longevity Award was issued to Vinny Gaccione (59 years) and Joe Nigrelli (51 years).  Our Assistant District Governor Chuck Sauer was awarded the Dr. Percy Hodgson Memorial Award, which was presented for Distinguished Service and Leadership to the Club and District in Furthering the Objects of Rotary.  Well deserved, Chuck!  Although he has moved to New Hampshire, he has retained his membership with the East Greenwich Club, his work with the RYLA program and his Position as AG of our Area.

Hopefully, we will be meeting in person on July 13 with guest speaker, Lt Gov Dan McKee.
