21 Jun 2025 - Pops day in Wilcox Park!!! It was a beautiful, sunny day - a bit warm - but we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for spectacular music and for a successful concession sales event. We sold all 240 hot dogs, all 80 gallons of Lemonade, all 15 bags of popcorn, half of potato chips, and most of our soda and water. Our net proceeds as of 6/22 is over $11,000 - still more to update in the next week or so.
Special grateful thank you to Navigant Credit Union (Grant), Honey Dew on Franklin Street (Coffee etc), Shoreline Cinema Group (Popcorn), Stonington Ice (Ice), McQuade's Hardware (trash barrels), Rotarians (water, soda), Grey Sail (truck loan), Bogue's Alley (hot dogs, rolls), Avie's Ski/Sport (tents, goods storage). Without your help, expenses would have been much higher and net proceeds available to give back to Chorus alot less.
Also, National Honor Society Students at Westerly High School donated their time and talents in the morning to help us unload our stuff and set up the concession and in the evening to take everything down and pack up. They were an enormous help and we are so appreciative.
