Kathy Walsh and Sue Ogle are members and volunteers at The Westerly Village. No, it isn't a building but it is a non-profit organization "dedicated to providing older adults with the practical and social support they need to live independently at home and remain actively engaged in their communities." Some of the services they provide include tech support, home social visits, transportation, assistance with errands, administrative help. There are 13 "villages" throughout Rhode Island but the program had its beginning in Boston 25 years ago.
